012 *Robots and Prawns and Clones

Last entry, I was appalled that we had already reached August. Now it's October and I don't give a fancy duck. I'm sick, I'm bored, I'm tired and I'm unmotivated. Can I be John Malkovich for the rest of the year? I'm so over 2009. You're so 2000 and late. I'm at a halt and I need some inspiration.. Blah blah blah blah blah yaddi yaddi yah, it's the same shit in my head again. Ok. Get over it. /rant.

My brother rented Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen today and I was into it. Intense robot fighting scenes and Megan Fox, c'mon now. If I was a techie, I'd totally be 5hrs deep on youtube with her name in the search engine, but I'd put her on mute. I was genuinely upset when Optimus Prime died. Missed out on the ending though to catch another movie, but it's nothing I couldn't predict anyway.
So, skipped out on the ending of that sequel and preceded to watch District 9 for the first time @ the Laurelhurst Theatre. LOVED the movie except it stressed me out so much towards the end, but the comic relief of futtbuckers getting their heads blown off did calm my nerves a little. I had a glass of a Bridgeport Hop Harvest Ale during the film, and that tickled my taste buds in a very magnificent manner. Somehow, after the movie, we ended up watching parts of The 6th Day, starring the Gov'na himself. I wanted to puke my face off when he took home that life-like robotic doll for his daughter. I'm giving myself nightmares for the night just for reminding myself of that wretched, horrid, ill-fated prop. If I could go back in time, I would set it back to the date of when that eery doll was being made and chop off the thumbs and pinkies of the person or people who created my new nightmare, with a rusty machete. Wishing death upon them would be very unkind of my character. I do believe that I have just seriously freaked myself out thinking too much of that doll now, and I don't think I'm going to be able to sleep tonight.. like, in all seriousness of soap operas. Ahhhhhhh! :(

Today I love: Manuel-- a friendly, fluffy, and very soft cat
Today I hate: the director of The 6th Day
